4Vesta – Static EP

Mid-paced drums play a simple beat and a brass-like guitar tone does a simple melody, and then the guitar plays chords softly as ethereal vocals come in, with the bass guitar leading. Soon, string-like keyboards come in and play with the vocals and bass, leading through the verse until the brassy-guitar tone returns and plays its melody for two bars. The guitar drops down to playing soft chords as the ethereal vocals return, and then, like before, string-like keyboards play with the vocals and bass. Another brassy guitar section is played, and then the vocals come in over it, sing a couple bars, and the song ends.

A fairly distorted guitar tone plays some harmonies, and then is interrupted by hard drumming with power chords, keyboards, and bass over it. This happens four times, and then the hard drumming is sustained with slightly complex beats as the vocals come in over it and sing a few bars, and then the notes are sustained briefly, and the part with the harmonies interrupted by hard drumming returns. There is another verse similar to the one with the sustained complex hard drumming, and then the notes are sustained, ending the song.

An effects laden guitar tone plays a droning two note progression twice with keyboards and fairly slow, simple drumming, then vocals come in and softly sing over it, singing for four bars. The drumming picks up a little bit, and the drone becomes the vehicle for a chord progression which the vocals sing along to for two bars, and then the style of the previous section returns until again the drums pick up, this time playing four long bars, which is followed by a similar section with a distorted guitar melody softly accompanying it for four more bars. Then the song continues on, fading out and ending the EP.
