Sosi’s Gone But Not Forgotten begins with the brief track “Anxiety”, where distorted bell-tones play atonal melodies in dissonant harmonies which almost seem to be without time-signature.
The next track, “Soaked in the Tears of Nothing” begins with a noise wall like a distorted, cascading waterfall, and soon high-pitched feedback tones play along to it. Then, sound like water crashing against a glass surface appears, but marginally quietly, below the constant din of the noise wall. The feedback tones squeal like wounded dolphins, then play a bit lower, but not much, and then are mixed with indistinct analog noise. White noise appears briefly, only to disappear, then comes back to have its volume moved up and down repeatedly. Resonant noise of a low-mid-frequencied nature plays, and its volume is modulated like the previous noise. Then feedback laden noise reappears, but stormier this time, and suddenly the track ends.
In “The Fears Constricting The Mind”, what sounds like stretched noise with screaming high mids appears, and high pitched clinking feedback is played repeatedly. The sound of chaotic, resonant filtered noise is modulated to produce screaming feedback in various ways. Bass tones start to play slowly under the mix. The clinking is played back but at a lower, slower frequency. Suddenly, feedback screams like a terrified person, and then the scream occurs at a lower frequency. Resonance is played with on one stream of noise, which eventually becomes harsh and screams briefly, only to be brought back down. Eventually the screaming is brought back, only to disappear again, then comes back roaring at a lower frequency. The clinking occurs at a low frequency, and then the track is over.
“Gone But Not Forgotten” begins with a wall of noise which is distorted and has resonance played with a bit, making the wall dynamic. High frequencies are EQed in, and distorted noise with feedback is played with, perhaps with a low-pass filter. There are very few low-frequencies in this track. The noise takes on a texture like a roaring flame, the resonant filter creates harsh high frequencies as well as lower sounds, and this is the end of the track as well as the EP.
